Nailah Johnson, AP
Nailah Johnson is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Ayuryoga Teacher, and Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about wellness work and self-transformation. Nailah earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Marquette University in 2017. At the Ayurvedic Institute, she earned her certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (2022), an Ayurvedic Practitioner (2023) and 200-hour Ayuryoga Teacher (2023).
In early 2021, Nailah was diagnosed with cancer and took a break from working in order to rest and heal. After healing from cancer through holistic health practices and lifestyle changes, Nailah made a transition in career and walked away from numerous opportunities to pursue further education in health and wellness.
After fully recovering, Nailah became certified as a Creative Catalyst and launched her own wellness business, Creating Aliveness Ayurveda LLC, working with community members to promote wellness and implement creative spiritual practices through her services.
Currently, Nailah pursues the Ayurvedic Doctor certification at the Ayurvedic Institute while also studying with the Functional Nutrition Alliance. Through Creating Aliveness Ayurveda LLC, she blends both Eastern and Western thought and practices into her wellness services, emphasizing the connection between the mind, body, and consciousness in our overall wellness.
Creating Aliveness Ayurveda LLC currently impacts change in wellness work through two pathways. One pathway is by partnering with organizations and hosting workshops for improving community wellness, where Nailah facilitates intentional spaces using creative spiritual practices such as meditation, breath work, creative expression, and more. The second pathway is by seeing clients one-on-one in a clinical setting to support individuals at a deeper level.
